The Treatment

Understanding thesignature facial.

A facial is a non-invasive skin treatment, typically combining elements such as cleansing and moisturizing, tailored to your skin type and needs.

Every clinic’s signature facial is its own. Ours is designed as a calm, personal appointment in which your provider takes time to understand your skin before deciding how to approach the service.

A facial is a way to care for your skin, not a medical treatment, and it isn’t a substitute for seeing a dermatologist about a skin condition. If you are looking for a more targeted treatment, such as a chemical peel, your provider can talk you through the options.

A good place to start

  • How your skin feels day to day, and anything you would like to focus on
  • Your current skincare routine and products
  • Any sensitivity, reactions or skin conditions
  • Recent treatments, and what you enjoy — or would rather avoid — in a facial

Concerns & Suitability

Skin goals you can bring to us.

Guests often book a facial when they would like:

  • Skin that feels clean, comfortable and cared for
  • Advice on a routine that suits their skin
  • A regular appointment to look after their skin
  • Time to relax as part of their self-care

Tell us about your skin

Facials are tailored to the individual, so share anything that could affect how your skin responds. Let your provider know if your skin is sensitive or easily irritated, about any skin conditions, which products you use — retinoids, for example, can make skin more sensitive — and about any recent treatments. Not every approach suits every skin, and your provider will adjust or advise accordingly.

Your Visit

What to expect.

  1. Discuss your skin and goals

Your visit begins with a conversation about your skin, your routine, any sensitivity and what you would like from your facial.

    • Mention retinoids or other active products you use
    • Share any skin conditions or recent treatments
  2. Agree on the approach

Your provider explains how they would approach your facial today, so you know what to expect before you settle in. You are welcome to ask questions or share preferences at any point.

  3. Personalized skincare guidance

You leave with guidance on caring for your skin at home and, if you would like, a suggestion of when to return.

General information only. Your provider will give guidance specific to you.

Each signature facial is tailored to your skin, so your provider talks you through the approach at the start of your visit. If you would like to know more before booking, ask at your consultation.

A facial is a non-invasive skin treatment tailored to your skin type and needs. A chemical peel uses a solution to remove outer layers of the skin, and dermaplaning uses a small blade to remove dead skin cells and fine facial hair from the surface. Those are more targeted treatments with their own suitability considerations — see our Chemical Peels and Dermaplaning Facial pages, or ask at your consultation.

It depends on your skin. Facials are tailored to the individual, so tell your provider if your skin is sensitive or reactive, about any skin conditions, the products you use — retinoids, for example, can make skin more sensitive — and any recent treatments. They can then adjust the approach or advise whether a facial is right for you today.

There is no single answer — it depends on your skin, your goals and your routine. Your provider can suggest a rhythm that suits you at the end of your visit.

Yes. If you would like a regular facial, our Facial Membership is a recurring plan — see what it includes and its price on our Pricing & Packages page.
